Sometimes it appears as though it is a chore for us to be happy. What we need to realize is that there many little and productive opportunities that we can do to boost our morale in a short amount of time. What you can do may vary on what we have time for in a day, but there are always possibilities to put a smile on your face. Maybe you can change your daily pattern and go to the gym early, or you can go out of your way to talk to someone you’ve never had the opportunity to before. Even in a short period of thirty minutes, there at least seven things that you can do to turn your mood positive.

One way to put a smile on your face is to hide your credit card. Your first thought may be that this suggestion sounds like torture, but by doing so, you can focus on what you have in front of you instead of wanting to go and spend money elsewhere. Be happy with what you have and what you can do without having to spend an abundance amount of money. With this new outlook, you will be able to be here in the present. Embrace what is happening around you and leave any worry you have behind. Celebrate life and experience all it has to offer. Revel in your victories and always strive to continue making more.

Being at home can make you down because productivity may be in the back of your mind. To lighten the mood, one thing that you can do is to get rid of three things that you never use. These things can range from something that you have on your desk that creates clutter to something that you trip over every time that you go into the pantry. Whatever you choose to rid yourself of can be better for you and will help you feel as though accomplished something for the day, no matter how small.

A task that can take more commitment is changing up your daily plan. By waking up early, you can take advantage by starting the day with eating breakfast. Not only will this give you energy throughout the day, but you will also get on track to a healthy eating plan. In addition, you can also start off your day right and with a smile on your face by waking up and exercising early in the day! Not only will this give you energy, but it will keep you motivated for any tasks you take on. Focus on the principle of making a difference and be a leader in your life. After your work out, something that can be relaxing for you is to take a shower. Not only are showers calming, but they are a good stress reliever and a good place to go through all of your thoughts. Look beyond your needs and focus on achieving flexibility. This element in life helps you be willing and able to alter what you originally create in life. If you want to make a change to better yourself, know that you can.

Another way to quickly have a smile on your face is to make a list of every amazing accomplishment that you have ever done. Once you see all of the things that you have accomplished, you will be able to think back on how you completed these activities and look forward to new ones. Once you’ve seen what you have been able to do, you can now make a life goal list that you want to pursue. Time is on your side and none is lost when you want to continue chasing your goals. Some of them may take a bountiful amount of time, but the smile you will have when you accomplish a goal will be worth the wait. Live by the principle of reading the road signs and follow the flow of life. Acknowledge that there may be some items on your list that may be more difficult, but go into each activity with confidence. Be courageous and fearless in everything you do and avoid holding yourself back.

An additional accomplishment you may put on your list that you can start immediately is learning something new. It may be a new skill, language, or even advancing in a skill that you already know. Learn how to cook a dish you have always wanted or learn the language of a country that you have always wanted to visit. There are so many opportunities for you to take advantage of; you just have to go for it! When doing this, you will be following the principle of blowing away limits by not restricting yourself to what you already know. Life will be exciting once you realize how absent limits on life are. Be adventurous on finding new things to do and always put forward effort.

If there is a lot on your mind, one thing that can make you happier instantly is meditating or journaling about any problems you may have. By seeing what is happening on paper, it may be easier for you to figure out a solution to your problems. Some techniques may work differently for some people such as writing, video logging, photography, or even drawing. Even if you are skeptical on doing something creative, give it a try to see if it makes a difference in a positive way. Keeping your anger inside is unwise, but by forgiving yourself and others, you will feel free. Forgive with serenity and grace and benefit from the happiness you receive from it. You are your own worst critic, so by getting your emotions out in any of these ways will relieve some pressure and stress you may have.

Another change that may be out of your comfort zone, but also can be refreshing, is talking to a stranger. A lot of times we feel as though we may want to keep any issues we are going through to ourselves, but just by having a conversation with someone on a random topic can be refreshing. This conversation could range from whoever checks you out at the grocery store to someone sitting next to you at the dog park. You simply have to make an effort to have a conversation and everything would flow easily from there. Be grateful for the opportunities that you have or are given and take advantage of them. Even when things are tough in life, you can always create reasons to be appreciative.

There are dozens of activities that you can do to put a smile on your face. Some of them may be easier than others, but what you have to realize is that you have to put in effort to make yourself happy. Engage with other people and try new things that may have seemed out of your reach. Be honest with yourself and personalize everything that you do. By following the principles and constantly striving to reach happiness, you can do everything in your power to assure that you are always Living Full Out.
